Running Club
 

New to Real Bodies... The Real Bodies Running Club! Suitable for complete beginners through to competent runners.

Each week we will complete a speed/threshold or long run - three key elements to successful training. Run by England Athletics running coach and Personal Trainer Siobhan Rootes, Siobhan will be on hand to offer continued support and advice throughout your running journey. We will learn about:

- Running specific strength and conditioning exercises to help you become a strong, injury free runner.

- Nutritional analysis and support and the importance of fuelling your body.

- Race hints and tips - Running drills and dynamic warm ups.

- How to stretch properly.

- Running clothing, footwear and equipment advice.

- The biomechanics of running, focusing each week on a different 'running technique'.
